TFH is a respite and engagement accommodation service for people over 18 who are sleeping on the streets, in parks or vehicles. TFH places a priority on referrals for long term rough sleepers and provides overnight accommodation and support in a warm and welcoming environment for up to 12 people for 7 nights.
Our service operates on a low threshold and change model based on engagement and harm reduction principles. People who have barriers to accessing other services are actively encouraged to stay at TFH and our staff work with the people who use the service, alongside the referral and visiting agencies, to achieve the best support outcome for them with the ultimate goal of working towards ending their homelessness. TFH staff maintain a position of unconditional positive regard for people using the service and work from a strengths based perspective. We advocate for people who use the service and will work with them to remove barriers to meeting their needs.
