The Youth Homelessness Advisory Council has recommenced their fortnightly meetings for 2020. This group of ten amazing young people, who all have lived experience of homelessness have big plans for the year.
Already the group has started the year off by building their brand and marketing materials and in April, for Youth Homelessness Matters Day, the group will be partnering with the Museum of Freedom and Tolerance and will launch a five minute youth homelessness advocacy film at Yagan Square on the big screen.
They will then turn their focus to implementing the WA Youth Homelessness Action Plan that was developed in 2019. There's lots more happening too so watch this space.
