Stakeholder Meeting & Governance Workshop

Updated: Apr 30, 2019

Representatives from Government and the community sector recently came together for the first of many stakeholder meetings with the WA Alliance to End Homelessness (WAAEH), to discuss the progress of current future work towards ending homelessness in Western Australia.

To facilitate engagement, alignment and collaborative opportunities throughout WA’s homelessness eco-system, the Alliance has established a series of regular touch points including meetings, workshops, and a pop-up co-working space. Most of this will be achieved through ‘pulse meetings’ held fortnightly (with exceptions around public holidays).

The Pulse Meeting on 21 November 2018 focused on governance arrangements.

A new governance framework is being established to provide a mechanism for organisations and individuals to join the Alliance and drive forward the outcomes and initiatives within the 10-Year Strategy to End Homelessness in WA. Representatives brought their expertise to the table in a workshop facilitated by PwC, where feedback was given on different governance structures.
