Over $500 in prizes available! (17 - 15 July 2020).
In association with Slavin Architects, the Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (WAAEH) are running an online student competition on Infill Housing.
The guiding principle of Housing First is that safe and secure housing should be quickly provided prior to, and not conditional upon, addressing other health and well-being issues. The success of this model, however, has been shown to be dependent on the availability of diverse affordable housing options. And this is where the discipline of architecture has the opportunity to contribute the most value.
