Members of the Australian and WA Alliance to End Homelessness have met with politicians about their plan to end homelessness.


Copies of The State of Homelessness in Australia’s Cities: A Health and Social Cost Too High and The Western Australian Strategy to End Homelessness were delivered to politicians who deal with homelessness issues within their portfolios.

Chief Executive Officer of Ruah Community Services, Debra Zanella said it was important to never stop talking about ending homelessness.


"The Western Australian Alliance to End Homelessness (WAAEH) and the Australian Alliance to End Homlessness (AAEH) come to Canberra to push for a federal commitment and strategic vision for ending homelessness," Debra said.


Members of the Alliance met with the Hon Dan Tehan MP, Minister for Social Services, and Shadow Minister for Housing, Senator Doug Cameron. The Alliance also visited Terri Butler MP, Shadow Assistant Minister for Preventing Family Violence and the Hon Catherine King MP, Shadow Minister for Health and Medicare.
