The Alliance Steering Group (formerly known as the Advisory Group) met recently to guide the work of the Alliance.
We have final sign off on the Governance Structure within the Alliance and Shelter WA. Key to this framework is to guide the responsibilities between the Collaborative Lead Group, the Steering Group and the relationship with our sponsoring organisation Shelter WA. This will provide some clarity of role responsibilities between each entity.
The Steering Group considered a number of key projects;
- the development of an Alliance Workplan.
- a proposed evaluation project by CSI UWA which will update the Alliance Dashboard and report on the state of homelessness due to COVID.
- First Nations Housing First project which will seek to develop a culturally specific model for Housing First within the First Nations community.
It was a productive meeting and we look forward to coming together in early December.
