The Department of Communities is leading the development of a whole-of-community plan to tackle homelessness in Western Australia. The 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness will find better ways to prevent homelessness and support those who are experiencing it.
A partnership between the State Government and the community services sector, the strategy is also a key project of the Supporting Communities Forum.
Development of the strategy will involve seeking input from people who have experienced homelessness and from service providers that work with homeless people.
For those who were unable to participate in the community consultations held throughout September and October 2018, there is an opportunity to have your say through an online survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/homelessness_strategy_WA.
